What Engineers Do

There are so many different branches of engineering that we can see the engineer connected to almost anything.Although the tasks are very different ,many of the method used are common to all engineers.They are problem solvers and concerned with using avaliable technology to solve these problems.They use mathametics, science and computers so that they model real life situations.Engineers work in teams in most projects.In some factories, when teams include people who are not engineers, engineers are responsible for communicating, planning, creating.They must be capable of creating and designing the equipment needed for the project.An engineer might built a new computer, design a sewer system, reorganize a large company or design machines and robots for dangerous jobs.Engineers work in industry, government, and business, as entrepreneurs, employees, and members of diverse teams.
